The Makita DGA463Z is a 115mm, slide switch, variable speed angle grinder powered by an 18V LXT lithium-ion battery. This is a bare unit, supplied without battery or charger. It features a brushless motor, variable speed control, anti-restart function, electric brake, and an on/off slide switch. The grinder also has electronic current limiter for overload protection and a battery fuel gauge. For user comfort, it boasts an ergonomic soft grip. Makita's Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts cutting speed according to the load, ensuring optimal performance. The Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. It also includes a lock-on function and soft start. The tool-less disc change system with a quick change flange nut allows for fast and easy disc replacement without the need for tools, saving time and money. The unit comes with a lock nut wrench, side handle, quick change flange nut, and a Makita Type 3 Makpac case with inlay.
