Full details

The Comfort Khloe Divan Bed Set in Silver is designed for those seeking a stable, modern, and comfortable sleeping solution. FAQs

What is the primary recommended use for this bed?

The Comfort Khloe Divan Bed Set, particularly the mattress, is best suited for spare rooms or occasional use, providing reliable support when needed.

How do I choose the right fabric for my bed?

Consider your room's decor and personal preference. Options include Plush Velvet for a luxurious feel, Naples for a textured look, Coniston, or Dumfries for classic neutral tones. Each offers unique depth and texture.

Is assembly required?

Yes, basic assembly is required for the divan base and headboard. Instructions are provided to guide you through the process.

Can I use my own mattress with this base?

This divan base is designed with a platform-top construction for specific mattress support. While other mattresses might fit, performance and longevity may be affected. It's recommended to use the compatible Comfort mattress.

What is the guarantee period for this bed?

The Comfort Khloe Divan Bed Set comes with a 1-year guarantee.

How deep is the mattress?

The mattress included with this set has a depth of 10 inches.

Are there different sizes available?

Troubleshooting

Bed base feels unstable

Ensure all screws and fixings are tightened securely. Check that the chrome gliders are properly attached and level.

Mattress slides on the base

Confirm that the non-slip base of the mattress is facing downwards. Ensure the bed frame is on a level surface. Consider a thin anti-slip mat if the issue persists, though this is not ideal for airflow.

Headboard is wobbly

Verify that the headboard struts are correctly attached to the divan base and that all bolts are tightened. Check if the headboard is properly aligned with the wall if it's leaning.

Difficulty moving the bed

Ensure the chrome gliders are clean and free from debris. For heavier beds, it's advisable to have two people when repositioning.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Offers excellent, even mattress support due to the platform-top base.
  • Durable construction crafted by hand in the UK.
  • Stylish design with a fluted headboard adds elegance to the bedroom.
  • Floor-protecting chrome gliders simplify bed movement.
  • Variety of fabric choices available to suit different interior styles.

Cons

  • The mattress is primarily recommended for spare or occasional use.
  • The mattress is single-sided, requiring a non-slip base for stability.
  • The headboard is strutted, which may have implications for placement in some rooms.
  • No handles are included, which could make repositioning the mattress more challenging.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

  1. Assemble the divan base according to the provided instructions. Ensure all connections are secure.
  2. Attach the strutted headboard to the divan base, ensuring it is firmly fixed.
  3. Place the mattress onto the platform-top base. Ensure the non-slip base is facing down.

Compatibility:

  • This divan base is designed for the included mattress. Other mattress types may not be compatible with the platform-top construction.
  • Ensure the chosen location has adequate space for the bed size and headboard.

Care:

  • Frame: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Mattress: For occasional use, regular airing can help maintain freshness. Rotate the mattress annually if used more frequently to ensure even wear. The mattress features a non-slip base; avoid placing it upside down. Clean spills immediately with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry thoroughly. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
