Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last through the season, follow these best practices:
- Break-in: Wear the boots during light training sessions before using them in competitive matches to allow the leather to mold to your foot.
- Surface Compatibility: Ensure you are using these boots on the appropriate surface (firm ground/natural grass) to avoid premature stud wear or slipping.
- Post-Match Cleaning: Remove excess mud immediately using a soft brush. Use a damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt.
- Drying: Never dry your leather boots near a direct heat source, such as a radiator, as this can cause the leather to crack and stiffen. Instead, air dry them naturally at room temperature with crumpled paper inside to maintain their shape.
- Leather Maintenance: Periodically use a leather conditioner to keep the material supple.
