Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Setting the Time: Gently pull out the crown located on the side of the watch. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Once set, push the crown back in completely to start the watch.
- Adjusting the Bracelet: The two-tone bracelet is adjustable. For optimal comfort and fit, you may need to have links removed or added. It is recommended to visit a qualified jeweler or watch repair service for precise bracelet adjustment to avoid damage to the watch.
Compatibility
The Kenzie watch's versatile two-tone design, combining stainless steel and yellow gold-tone elements, makes it highly compatible with a wide range of jewelry. It effortlessly complements both gold and silver accessories, allowing you to wear it with various outfits and other pieces.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust and oils. For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used on the metal parts, but ensure no moisture enters the watch. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: Your watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use, resistant to splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, snorkeling, or any water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
- Avoiding Damage: Protect your watch from extreme temperatures, strong magnetic fields, and direct impact. Avoid exposing it to perfumes, solvents, and detergents, which can damage the seals or metal finishes.
- Battery Replacement: The quartz movement is powered by a battery. When the watch stops running, it indicates the battery needs replacement. It is highly recommended to have the battery replaced by a professional watch technician to ensure the case back is properly sealed for water resistance.
