The NIHUIFDPY Window Restrictor Lockable Window Safety Locks are essential security hardware for parents, pet owners, and facility managers looking to prevent accidental falls by limiting how far windows or doors can open. These durable, zinc-constructed restrictors offer high-strength protection capable of withstanding over 1000kg of force, though users should note that they require precise alignment during installation to ensure the locking mechanism functions smoothly with various frame profiles.

Yes, the pack is provided with the necessary keys to operate the included restrictors.
These locks are engineered to withstand forces of over 1000kg.
While primarily a safety device to prevent falls, the high-strength construction provides an effective secondary layer of security against forced entry.
Standard tools such as a drill and a screwdriver are sufficient for installation.
Ensure the window is pushed fully into the closed position so there is no tension on the locking mechanism.
Check that all mounting screws are fully tightened and that the base plate is flush against the frame surface.
Apply slight pressure to the window while turning the key to align the internal locking pins.
Installation requires a drill and a screwdriver. Begin by aligning the restrictor on the window frame and the opening section, ensuring the cable or arm length is set to the desired opening gap. Mark the screw holes, drill pilot holes if necessary, and secure the device using the provided screws. These locks are compatible with UPVC, aluminium, wood, and metal profiles. To maintain the device, periodically check that the screws remain tight and the locking mechanism operates freely. If you live in a coastal area, a light wipe with a silicone-based lubricant can help maintain the anti-corrosion properties of the metal.
