The Sloomy Kansas Bed Base in Black, Small Single, is designed for individuals seeking a durable, stylish, and stable foundation for their mattress. Its premium, UK-handcrafted construction ensures longevity, while the modern silhouette and 54-inch floor-standing headboard add a touch of elegance to any bedroom. A potential consideration is the limited storage options for smaller sizes (Small Single and Single), which may not suit those needing extensive under-bed storage. Key features include its robust platform-top design, a striking stitched headboard, and smooth-gliding chrome feet.

Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment. For spills, spot clean gently with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid soaking the fabric or using harsh chemicals.
The chrome gliders are fixed and designed to protect floors and provide stability. They are not adjustable for height.
Ensure all headboard bolts and fixings are fully tightened. Check that the pre-fitted metal clips are securely attached to the base.
Verify the drawers are correctly aligned on their runners. Check for any obstructions within the drawer cavity or on the runners themselves. Ensure the base is on a level surface.
Double-check that all connection points and fixings are securely tightened. Ensure the bed base is placed on a level floor, as an uneven surface can sometimes cause stress and noise.
Setup: The bed base comes with the platform-top base, 54-inch floor-standing headboard, chrome gliders, pre-fitted metal clips, and necessary headboard bolts and fixings. Assembly is designed to be straightforward, though attaching the large headboard may benefit from a second person. Ensure all fixings are tightened securely.
Compatibility: This bed base is designed to accommodate standard UK mattress sizes. It functions as a complete bed frame system, negating the need for a separate divan or box spring.
Care: To maintain the appearance of your bed base, regularly vacuum the fabric using an upholstery attachment. For spills, spot clean immediately with a clean, damp cloth and mild detergent, blotting gently. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure gliders are kept clear of debris to prevent scratching.
