The PLANET MGB-GT is a network transceiver module featuring a 1000BASE-T SFP port. It belongs to the MGB family of Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver modules designed for high-performance integrated duplex data links over optical fiber. These modules are compliant with the SFP Multisource Agreement (MSA) and are hot-pluggable, allowing for installation without interrupting the host equipment's operation. The MGB family of SFP Mini-GBIC Gigabit Ethernet modules can be installed in PLANET Switch products with SFP mini-GBIC interfaces. Deployment distances can extend from 100 meters (TP) to 550 meters (Multi-Mode, LC) and up to 120 kilometers (Single-Mode, LC). To address the growing demand for Industrial Ethernet fiber solutions, Planet offers the MGB-T series 1000BASE-SX/LX/BX transceivers, capable of operating reliably in electrically harsh environments.
