With a reinforced raised level base stand and 55mm (2.16") of adjustment, this range starts from an installation height of 60mm (2.36") and adjusts up to 115mm (4.53") as standard. The installation height can be increased in steps of 50mm (2") or 100mm (4") using Stratarise EX50 or EX100 QuickClick extensions as required (supplied separately). Please note - for high rise installations it is essential to ensure the structure is anchored to prevent lateral movements. StrataMax multi-level pedestals make it easy to achieve perfect flatness of the final floor, deck or paved area. The system is very easy to use and aids quick, precise and professional installation. Each support is composed of a threaded head section with four 4mm* thick spacer tabs to ensure even gaps between pavers or tiles, these are removable if not required, or with a fixed tab for fastening to decking or flooring joists. An easy to operate threaded adjustment ring makes raising or lowering the head really quick and precise. (* A version with 2mm thick spacer tabs is available by special order). Height adjustments can be made without removing the paver or joist thus allowing for extremely easy and fast installation. The large 8" (200mm) reinforced base plate provides stable support on most surfaces. Scribe marks are provided on the underside to assist in trimming for use at sides and corners of installations. An optional 3mm (1/8") thick anti-slip, cushioning, rubber base ring is available for use on membranes, etc. This effectively reduces transmitted noise where pavers and decks are mounted on balconies or roof areas. We recommend the use of our optional acoustic cushioning ring for the support head area for tile and paver installations. These help to bed corners securely, prevent any rattling, and reduce transmitted noise through the support system. StrataRise Mid-Range pedestal supports. Troubleshooting
Pedestal does not adjust smoothly
Ensure the threaded mechanism is free of dirt or debris. Gently clean the threads and try again. Avoid forcing the adjustment ring.
Uneven gaps between pavers/tiles
Verify that the pedestal spacer tabs are correctly oriented and that adjacent pedestals are set to the same height. Ensure the paver/tile is centered on the tabs.
Installation feels unstable
Check that the base plate is fully in contact with the ground surface. For high installations, confirm that anchoring has been implemented as recommended.
Excessive noise from the deck/paved area
Consider installing the optional acoustic cushioning ring on the head of the pedestal to help dampen vibrations and noise.
