How can I determine the correct size for my vehicle?

Check the sidewall of your current tires for size information (e.g., 185/80R15). You can also find the recommended tire size in your vehicle's owner's manual or on the sticker located on the driver's side doorjamb.

What is the expected lifespan of these tires?

Tire lifespan varies based on driving habits, road conditions, maintenance, and climate. Proper inflation, regular rotation, and alignment can help maximize tread life. Always check tread depth for wear indicators.

Troubleshooting

Uneven tire wear

Check and adjust wheel alignment and tire pressure. Ensure tires are rotated regularly according to the recommended schedule.

Reduced fuel efficiency

Verify tire pressure is at the manufacturer's recommended level. Ensure tires are not excessively worn or damaged. Consider a professional inspection for alignment issues.

Noisy tire operation

Check for uneven wear patterns, which can cause noise. Ensure tires are properly balanced. Road noise can also be inherent to certain tread designs; consult product specifications if noise is excessive.

Poor grip in wet conditions

Ensure tire tread depth is adequate. Check tire pressure. If issues persist, the tire may be nearing the end of its service life or not suited for extreme wet conditions.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The RX Quest C02 tires are designed to be mounted on standard wheel rims appropriate for their size (e.g., 185/80R15). Professional installation by a certified tire technician is recommended to ensure proper mounting, balancing, and inflation. Always adhere to the vehicle manufacturer's recommended tire pressure, typically found on a sticker in the driver's side doorjamb or in the owner's manual.

Compatibility: This tire model is available in various sizes to fit passenger cars, SUVs, 4x4s, and commercial vehicles. It's crucial to verify the specific tire size and load/speed rating required for your vehicle before purchase. Look for markings on your current tires (e.g., `185 80 R15 103/102R`) to confirm compatibility.

Care: To maximize the lifespan and performance of your RX Quest C02 tires:

  • Regular Inflation Checks: Check tire pressure at least once a month and before long trips when tires are cold.
  • Tire Rotation: Rotate tires every 5,000-7,000 miles to ensure even wear.
  • Wheel Alignment: Have your wheel alignment checked periodically, especially if you notice uneven wear or the vehicle pulling to one side.
  • Visual Inspection: Regularly inspect tires for cuts, bulges, punctures, or embedded objects.
  • Cleaning: Clean tires with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or petroleum-based products that can degrade the rubber.
