Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting installation, it is mandatory to verify compatibility using your vehicle's make, model, and year via an automotive parts lookup tool, as dimensions must match the specific housing of your control arm. The installation typically involves removing the existing control arm from the vehicle and utilizing a hydraulic workshop press to safely extract the old bushing and seat the new TD522W unit. Avoid using excessive force or heat, which can damage the component housing. Once installed, perform a full wheel alignment to ensure the new bushing performs as intended within the suspension ecosystem. Periodically inspect the bushing for signs of dry rot, cracking, or play during your routine oil changes.
