This Sealey MS003 is a specially designed tool for repairing damaged spark plug threads on modern engines. Its unique design allows the tool to be passed through the spark plug thread into the combustion chamber. It then expands to the correct size, starting on the inner, undamaged threads, ensuring a more reliable repair compared to traditional methods that rely on luck for thread alignment. The tool is 14mm in size and 138mm in length. Thread size identification codes are provided for various spark plug brands: the first letter(s) of Denso, NGK, and Bosch plug codes indicate thread size, while for Champion plugs, the second letter(s) are used.
